The community is preparing for a huge celebration, Bonesteel’s 125th birthday! Also known as the city’s Quasquicentennial, or the easier to pronounce, “Q125”. Activities begin the evening of Friday, September 15 and run through midday Sunday, the 17th. A few of the events planned include a movie in the park, 5K fun run/walk, inflatables and kids activities, bean bag tournament, soap box derby, historical displays, time capsule, and community meals. To top off all of these awesome events, we are very excited to have booked Dustin Evans and the Good Times Band for a street dance on Saturday night, the 16th. This will be Bonesteel’s first street dance in ages, and what a band to celebrate with!
