Carmen’s Crafts, owned and operated by Shelly Jons, is located at 303 Mellette St. This new business is located at the “old” Bonesteel Community Room.

Carmen’s Crafts offers a wide variety of items and opportunities for shoppers, quilters and crafters. Retail craft items will include quilts, table runners, crocheted afghans, knitted mittens, scarves, boot cuffs, bowl cozies, small fabric bags and much, much more. Missouri Star Quilt Company quilt books, fat quarters, layer cakes, and jelly rolls available.

Shelly’s store is not just for retail, but also the perfect place to work on your own craft projects while you enjoy a cup of coffee.

If you like to sew, scrapbook, knit, or crochet, the crafting room is at your disposal. This area is supplied with irons and ironing boards, cutting mats, rulers, square up tools, and rotary cutters. Bring your own supplies and arrangements can be made if you would like to leave your project on site.

The craft room will be available every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and available by appointment as well. Cost to use the room will be $1.00 per hour per person.

Recently, Sonya Fernau has become a new resident at Carmen’s Crafts! Sonya has opened her business, Back 2 Balance Massage Therapy. You can reach her at 830-2021.

To add to the variety, Shelly is also a Watkins distributor and will have her products available for purchase. Watkins is famous for its vanilla, pepper and cinnamon. Also pepper grinders, soup base, spices, extracts, and laundry soap. Catalogs will be available.

Contact Shelly Jons with any questions, or to schedule a time to use the crafting room.
